now a patent and trademark protected product and is professionally manufactured and Not a homemade version of the original.  This is the Trap shown on You Tube by Shawn Woods and it is the "only one" that caught the "11 mice in one night" All of the other traps seen on E-Bay are copy's of this trap using heavier material.
The
effectiveness is due to the extreme lightness of the “Rolling Log” at weighing just under 2oz., our log is 2 – 4 oz. less than the weight of the average mouse.
When the mouse steps onto the Log, the coefficient of friction between the axle bushing and the axle is such that the mouse does not feel any movement in the Log and thus feels secure in their footing in order
to access the Log.
When the mouse turns around slowly/ or turns sideways to perch and eat, the mouse’s center of gravity extends beyond the circumference of the Log.
The torque exerted onto the roller by the mouse’s feet, off sets the “moment of inertia” of the mouse/log system
(a quantity expressing a body’s tendency to resist angular acceleration.
It is the sum of the products of the mass of each particle in the body with the square of its distance from the axis of rotation)
and the mouse starts its free fall into the bucket.
Our trap has evolved from proto types that we have made but not sold, over 2 years ago.
Our past proto types very much resemble the other traps being seen on E-Bay now.
Our Trap was introduced in August of 2016, long before any of the attempts to copy our trap which are showing up now on E-Bay.
Unlike the "Walk the plank" mouse trap; mice do not wipe the bait off of the trap when they fall.
