    Description

Up for sale here is this huge vintage power transformer.  It is marked TP-0018 549030, so I believe it was made by Midwest Coil & Transformer the 30th week of 1950.  This has an octal socket in the top, so it was probably used in an old tube television and would have used a 5U4G (not included) as a rectifier.  This came from a homebrew guitar amplifier, where it was being used with a pair of 7868 output tubes, a 5BC3 rectifier tube (the amp used an octal plug running from the transformer to a novar socket), a 7199, and 3 or 4 12AX7 tubes, all not included.
I am guessing this would work with 7591s and probably with 6L6 tubes as well, but I don't know for sure.  The amp this came from had "350-0-350" marked on the inside of the chassis, so I am guessing this transformer has secondaries of 5.0v, 6.3v (probably CT), and 700vCT, though I don't know for sure.  This is in good shape with light to moderate wear and is guaranteed to work great for you.
