-amazing piece of clothing for outdoor activities in cold weather, either aerobic (skiing, running, XC skiing, biking, skating,...)
or non aerobic
-it will keep you warm even if you sweat, due to merino wool 45% content and nice transfer of the vapors to upper layers.
-excellent as well for hunting, fishing, snowmobile and other outdoor activities not so active.
-I cannot find these being made any more, too bad; even on Ebay you see these only in used condition..
Two-layers:
inner layer: 100% polyester
outer layer: 55% polyester, 45% merino wool
I am personally using same crewneck, and this is my favorite and best piece of equipment as base layer... compared to many other brand name pieces I own, such as Patagonia, Mountain Hardwear, Arcteryx. This one is the best...
Originally bought these for myself, after having great experience with these, but the only size I could find anywhere was Small. Bought them anyway..
For 6'2'' 180lb person athletic person with long arms... S is a bit on small size, I am wearing M. I like my base layer close on the body, not loose.
I hope this gives better idea about the fit of this size S.
