7” x 3 ½” 1930s – 1950s HOLD FAST Animal Trap

7” x 3 ½” 1930s – 1950s HOLD FAST Animal Trap  –  Red and blue on 9/16” thick wood, says “Press Bait “in hole Hold Fast Reg U.S. Pat. Off, Animal Trap Co. Lititz PA.USA”. It had 16 nails sticking up to assist in disabling any small animal like squirrels and rats. A raccoon may walk off with it. But this is more then that. To me, it represents memory pictures from the 1940s. The spring is very very strong. I'll use it if it doesn't sell, in our garage where squirrels make a mess; using peanuts and peanut butter as bait.
